About Me — Christina

I live on Vancouver Island, Canada, with my sweet and slightly spiky rescue dog, Kiki. Soon, after I've had my hip replaced, you'll find us on our local trails and in our backyard garden.

I’ve navigated breast cancer naturally, a divorce amicably, and raised a son with whom I share a close relationship.

My Shift

Most of my life, I’ve built my own path as an entrepreneur.

A few years ago, I stepped into employment with an organization I'd long admired. At the time, I told myself it was the right move.

I cared about the work and threw myself into it.

When it ended—suddenly, and in a way that felt deeply off—it landed harder than I expected.

Somewhere along the way, my job came to mean more than it should have. I had tied so much of my identity to something that was not mine.

And when I lost it, I lost my colleagues and the people we served. And I lost my sense of belonging, accomplishment and mattering.

I knew I had some rebuilding to do. I designed a program for myself to reconnect with who I am, what I want to create, and how I want to spend the precious years I have left.

I returned to the work I care about most—coaching and supporting women. I now support other women in answering their true hearts’ desire through my program, The Embodied Next Chapter.

My Background

I do this work from lived experience as much as from training.

I have a Master’s degree in Transformative Learning and extensive training in coaching, NLP, EFT, and hypnotherapy.

Over 35 years, I’ve built a number of businesses focused on women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, and communication.

I’m the author of Real World Safety For Women, and I contributed a chapter to the textbook on transformative learning — The Palgrave-MacMillan Handbook on Learning for Transformation: The Embodiment of Transformative Learning.

My Work

The women I work with have lived full lives. They’ve built careers, families, and responsibilities. At a certain point, something shifts. There’s a sense that more is possible, even if it isn’t fully clear yet.

If you’re in that place where something in you is asking for clarity, I invite you to take advantage of a Free Mini Challenge where we work together one-on-one for 5 sessions. You’ll discover some clarity on your strengths and next steps.

Kiki, when she first joined me.
